JIMMY TWO TIMES
JIMMY TWO TIMES was a very talented racehorse, armed with a great turn of foot, he won or was placed in no less than 12 stakes races from 2 to 5 years of age, on all ground from good to soft. A precocious 2-year-old, he won his first two outings, and finished 2nd in the L Prix Zeddaan.
He is son of KENDARGENT, who is proving himself as a sire of sires with GOKEN, and also as a broodmare sire (Pourville, Diamond Vendôme, Kenway etc.). André Fabre, trainer of JIMMY TWO TIMES, uses KENDARGENT for his own mares every year.
His pedigree is similar to four of the great French sires : ANABAA, HIGHEST HONOR, LINAMIX, and KENDOR who himself stood at Haras de Montaigu. JIMMY TWO TIMES
is a total outcross, with his pedigree free of the blood of major stallions like DANEHILL, SADLER’S WELLS, NUREYEV, ACCLAMATION, STORM CAT …..
He was placed in the G1 Prix Maurice de Gheest like his grand sire ANABAA, and also the proven sires DUTCH ART, SOCIETY ROCK and CADEAUX GENEREUX.
After his impressive win in the G3 Prix Edmond Blanc, beating the track record, he was quickly purchased by Godolphin. This race had previously been won by his great-grand father HIGHEST HONOR, DANSILI, and former Haras de Montaigu stallion TURTLE BOWL, who also stood at Shadai Farm in Japan.
JIMMY TWO TIMES went on to win his next outing the G2 Prix Muguet, like DANSILI !
JIMMY TWO TIMES possesses all the attributes to become a successful stallion in France.
The best French sires over the past 25 years, those who finished in the winner’s circle at least 3 times, have much in common with JIMMY TWO TIMES.
Speed in 10 out of 12 cases, 8 won over distances of 1 mile or less; capacity to win on soft or trying ground, in 11 out of 12 cases; Precocity, 11 out of 12 won at 2 years-old and 8 were black type at that age. All the same qualities that JIMMY TWO TIMES showed during his racing career.
